Simple, Flexible, and Built for Real Workflows
BirdDog Connect uses a clean, connection-based licensing model designed to scale with you. Every time you create a connection, it uses one license from your pool. When you delete that connection, the license is instantly released and ready to use again. Easy.
To help you get started right away, every new BirdDog Connect account comes with 2 free connections — no commitment required.
How Connections Are Counted
One connection = one license.
If you create an outgoing feed and a return feed, that’s two connections. Simple and predictable.
Multiview = one connection.
Even if you’re pulling in multiple sources, Multiview only outputs one stream, so it only counts as one license.
BirdDog Webstream (web browser viewing).
A standard one-to-one Webstream counts as a single connection.
Broadcast connections.
A Broadcast output counts as one license, but does consume Broadcast data. Make sure you have a plan that includes enough data or add more as needed.
Router Connections
Routing directly to BirdDog devices does not use any licenses.
Creating a new router output, or using retransmit to merge separate audio and video streams, does use licenses — one per router output you generate.

Monthly plans are charged monthly and renew every month until you cancel, and annual plans are charged annually and renew automatically until you cancel. For signing up to an annual plan you receive a 10% discount.
There are no lock-in contracts and you can simply cancel at any time during your current billing cycle.
No. The yearly 10% discount only applies to the BirdDog Connect subscription and the initial data packs included with your chosen plan.
Yes! You can set the limit of when you want to auto-renew and for how much you wish to purchase. This will give peace of mind that there will be no disruption to your service mid-production. You can also set the limit of renewals per day to avoid any billing surprises.
